  Last Thursday, 17th of March, we celebrated St Patrick's Day at school. We saw some videos and learnt about the origin of Ireland Big Day, the traditions around it and how it is celebrated in different parts of the world. Here we leave you the two videos in case you want to watch them again. Afterwards, fifth graders solved a really difficult crossword after doing some research on the internet and finally we made some crafting related to St Patrick and Ireland. We made an origami shamrock following this tutorial: However we modified the final result so that it looked like the one St Patrick used to explain the mistery of the Holy Trinity when he was spreading Catholicism through Ireland.
